Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FortiPanel software and services ("Service") provided by FortiPanel ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
FortiPanel is a self-hosted software platform that enables Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT professionals to manage Fortinet FortiGate firewalls. The software is delivered as Docker container images and runs entirely on your own infrastructure.
2. License
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use FortiPanel on your own servers for your internal business operations and for managing your clients' infrastructure.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the software to build a competing product
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
3. Free and Paid Plans
FortiPanel offers a free tier limited to 3 devices. To manage more devices, a paid subscription is required. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on the number of devices managed, at the rates published on our pricing page.
4. Payments and Billing
Payments are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.
5. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund policy for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with FortiPanel, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Subsequent billing periods are non-refundable. Please see our Refund Policy for full details.
6. Data and Privacy
FortiPanel runs entirely on your infrastructure. We do not have access to your FortiGate credentials, network data, or device configurations. The only data we process is what is necessary to manage your license (email address, device count, payment information). Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Intellectual Property
The FortiPanel software, including its source code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of FortiPanel. FortiGate® and FortiOS® are registered trademarks of Fortinet, Inc. FortiPanel is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Fortinet, Inc.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
